About uTalkin2Me & BigJD

The show started out on internet radio. Host BigJD produced the show for the AllTalk Radio Network in Las Vegas in 2007. A year later it went to a podcast, then back to internet radio on WKBR, then to terrestrial FM radio at 99.1 CJAM Windsor-Detroit, where the show won Jammy Awards three years in a row for Best Talk Show. The show was also rebroadcast on WDIR - Windsor-Detroit Internet Radio. In 2014, the show became part of BigJD & Lippo In The Morning, a morning talk show also formerly of 99.1 FM.

Past uTalkin2Me guests have included Dick Wagner (Alice Cooper), Lips (Anvil), Scott Gorham (Thin Lizzy), superstar radio DJ Anita Gevinson (once engaged to rock legend Warren Zevon), and even Paul Howard, son of Moe from the Three Stooges.

JD has been quite busy with mixing & mastering music, mixing films, and putting out records with a number of bands he’s involved with, including Jeffrey David’s BLUES CONNECTION, and Kevin & JD. If you’re in a heavy band, look into having JD mix & master your next song, EP or full length album.
